IPL Match Centre Live

Digital Marketing, Brand Experience, Brand Design & Gudeline Development

Setting a new standard for future IPLs forever. Matching the pulse of the nation. Made playful for the mobile audience.

The Challenge

Jio and Viacom 18 Sports needed programme packaging for Match Centre Live, their online IPL broadcast targeting younger audiences through mobile-first consumption. The system had to work across 8 Indian languages, 6 studios, and the JioCinema app while shifting cricket viewing from traditional TV to mobile platforms.

Our Approach

The Idea

We created a mobile-optimized visual system that matched India's festive cricket culture. The design embraced color and celebration while developing an emoji language sticker pack for cross-platform consistency.

Execution

We built a master toolkit enabling real-time asset production across regional studios and broadcasts. The system covered studio graphics, opening titles, scorecards, statistics, match graphs, and player profiles. The toolkit supported 8 languages and integrated with social media through the emoji sticker system.
